SCOPE
Role will report to the IT Digital Capability Leader – Customer Collaboration in the IT Digital Supply Chain organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Solution Engineers/Solution Architects, Business Clients, Data & Analytics team, Enterprise Architects and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers and Customers. Travel may include approximately 15-25% of work time depending on project activities and status of office openings. The role has close partnership with the Global Supply Chain and Sales Teams (Regional), IT Business Partners, IT Delivery Team and the S4 Program Team to deliver the best products and solutions for K-C for Customer Collaboration. The role should have delivery experience in Snowflake, an understanding of customer/retailer and Supply chain data, with working knowledge of other Supply Chain areas and ability to apply understanding to ongoing digital innovation, tools and platforms related to Customer Collaboration.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Development in Snowflake for the Customer Collaboration program (initial assignment)
- Technical delivery in the Blue Yonder Flowcasting (SCPO) tool (ability to upskill for this initial assignment)
- Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical analytical areas with wide range of complexity. Functional architect and leader of large/extra-large complex projects across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Analytics capabilities.
- Deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions for the Customer Collaboration program and beyond to meet enterprise needs and to drive business growth and profitability.
- Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
- Collaborates with other Functional/Solution Engineers, Data and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions across K-C’s application landscape.
- Coordinates large, complex functional implementations while leading design variances based upon business needs while ensuring artifacts are documented in enterprise architecture repository.
- Coordinates engagements with vendors as they relate to evaluation, design and delivery of business capabilities. Contributes to the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
- Participant in industry representation, policy formation, User Groups, and strategic direction.
- Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
- Map the Customer Journey and partner with the business in the co-creation of solutions that add value to K-C.
- Maintains in-depth understanding of both KCP and Consumer business processes for their capability area.
- Influences policy formation; contributes to User Groups; significant contribution to strategic direction.
- Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org; full awareness of industry and technology trends that can bring K-C a competitive advantage.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s degree; 5-7 years of Professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients.
- Has experience developing applications and able to apply that experience to identify opportunities, design initiatives that improve business process and ensure best practices are being followed. Ability to do hands-on development and configuration work.
- Strong delivery experience within Snowflake and/or BlueYonder SCPO (Flowcasting) with ability to upskill in the other.
- Has experience providing business process development support and development for Advance Planning Systems (APS) processes that include Forecasting, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Replenishment, Deployment, Network Optimization, Inventory Optimization, Procurement, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Forward and Reverse Logistics.
- Expert in Requirements management, with knowledge of Architecture, Data and Technology management.
- Deep knowledge in applying agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
- Understanding of digital enablers and technologies such as embedded Analytics, design for Automation, UX, and modern integration.
- Has a leader mindset, which can enable an optimal TCO for solutions.
- Experience with deploying and driving execution via performance measurement, benchmarking, and related visual management.
- Held prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority.
- Strong leadership skills with experience working with global teams.
- Strong service delivery skills.
- Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations.
- Broad range of business and IT experiences; has achieved technical and/or business certification(s) such as SCPO (BlueYonder/JDA), SAP, Azure, Snowflake, etc.
- Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
