We are looking for a strong Data & Analytics leader and executive for our Senior Manager D &A Delivery position in our Chief Data Office. This is a very crucial role to make our AI vision successful by delivering innovative AI solutions to generate value across Kimberly-Clark’s businesses.
The Role
We are looking for a proven executive and Data Engineering leader with a strong customer-centric mindset, solid background in innovation, creating and delivering Datawarehouse & analytic solutions, driving growth and collaborating across the company to accelerate incubation and delivery of new data & analytics-based business capabilities across Kimberley-Clark’s businesses.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to work in close partnership with business leaders across the organization to understand the challenges that can be solved through innovative cloud-based solutions, and you will lead the teams to deliver those solutions.
Your role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert on data & analytics disciplines, providing thought leadership on emerging topics and trends, while working with your team to establish and deliver data & analytics roadmaps across various applications and success across the enterprise as we optimize productivity and efficiency and provide great customer experience.
The Senior Manager Data & Analytics Delivery is a transformative, collaborative and inspirational leader with deep expertise, a passion for coaching, leading and inspiring cross functional teams to solve business challenges, create solutions and deliver business value. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Data & AI Innovation & Platforms, while working conjointly with the respective discipline leaders representing each line of business and functional areas across Kimberly-Clark.
Your responsibilities & Skills will include the following:
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery by the scrum team(s) within your delivery stream(s) managing scope, schedule and budget with an Agile-centric approach to prioritization and value added
- Streamline Data Engineering intake process working closely with stakeholders and business intelligence teams
- Maintaining product roadmap and management of backlog for delivery of value in every cycle iteration
- Ownership of delivery and the voice of delivery to leadership: Defining and tracking actions to resolve issues and risks
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies for Agile delivery team(s)
- Ensure timely delivery to cost based upon agreed objectives to support the business through Agile Scrum methodology
- Identify and resolve business, IT and supplier issues in order to ensure that the delivery team objectives can be delivered on time and within budget
- Reporting of agile metrics and delivery status to IT Leadership team and, where appropriate, reporting on delivery status of cross-team epics
- Delivering regular enhancements to evolve and improve current Agile process
- Management of distributed Onshore/Offshore Vendor delivery teams to ensure progress and quality
- Work with internal IT staff to deliver dependencies outside of allocated delivery team(s) including but not limited to, application integration, infrastructure, and security
- Experience working with Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence teams
- Experience in SQL and analytical warehousing and reporting tools
- Manage delivery with an organized and attention-to-detail approach, strong tactical execution and effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in managing Onshore/Offshore Vendor development teams Agile Scrum delivery methodology, ideally with distributed Agile teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels internal and external to the business stakeholders
- Experience in software delivery lifecycle, analysis, development, and QA
- Strategic orientation with an attention to detail
- Structured thinking, ability to remove ambiguity and work under pressure.
- Experience with SAP HANA, Azure, Snowflake, PowerBI or relevant experience
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MBA or related fields
- 15+ years of leadership experience with focus on engineering and delivery and 8+ years comprehensive Datawarehouse, migrations, analytics or relevant experience
- Experience in leading and developing remote and distributed teams.
- Experience leading and executing cross functional projects. Familiarity and proficiency with agile methods and tools to support project management in a timeline sensitive environment.
