Kolter Solutions is seeking an IT Data Analyst to work with a great client.
Location: Hybrid- Orlando, FL- 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Job Description:
- The Data Analyst is responsible for creating documentation, using Power BI to create reports and process diagrams, and maintaining data modeling databases and tools. Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
- Design datasets from different data sources for Power Bl to utilize
- Understanding the basics of data modeling and how to create relationships between tables
- Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
- Create customized charts and custom calculations as per requirements
- Management of users, security roles, and data refresh tasks
- Design documentation and publication of reports in Power BI online using Pipelines
- Prepare user training materials as needed for projects
- Strong analytical skills and how to populate reports from different data sources
- Identify business intelligence reporting needed by the business and work with others to create it
- Solicit and write business/functional requirements as needed to facilitate communications on projects
- Provide technical and functional support to end users
- Serve as a helpdesk resource to document and resolve end-user issues and requests
Minimum Qualifications:
- Power BI experience required with ability to model datasets and create reports
- Minimum 6 months of experience with data analytics and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Experience with Power BI analytics and data extracts
- Progressive, relevant responsibility throughout your career
- Excellent planning and self-directed time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service focus
- Advanced excel skills
