KPMG is currently seeking a Business Analyst for Digital Nexus.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by understanding the needs of the business, documenting and communicating their requirements to the appropriate resources and monitoring project status and task completion to ensure objectives are met
  • Elicit, compile, document and manage clear and testable requirements using a variety of elicitation methods such as interviewing, workshops, business process and workflow review
  • Analyze, translate and communicate business requirements back to development team, through detailed flow charts, diagrams, prototypes, use cases and user stories
  • Responsible for effective verbal and written communication within the effort (project team, stakeholders and sponsors) and with leadership, building trusted relationships through assignments
  • Perform requirements traceability throughout project lifecycle to validate that product meets the approved requirements; support the testing process and traceability through review of test cases
  • Consistently seek ways to enhance delivery and to better understand, identify and work through issues across efforts
  • Maintain campaign reporting and dashboards for stakeholders; liaise regularly with media agency and media partners to develop and deploy creative tactics through multiple media channels, including print, video, podcast, sponsorships, digital, search, social and new and evolving media

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months; Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Human and Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Process Design and Engineering, Product Design, User Experience or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Basic technical skills to learn technology and help support IT staff and their clients
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office; strong knowledge of Excel and/or SharePoint a plus
  • Able to create and utilize pivot tables; analytical reporting and presentations skills a plus
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving and organizational skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to build productive relationships with peers
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
