KPMG is currently seeking a Associate, Audit Digital Enablement Services to join our Audit Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as part of the Audit engagement teams to support the use of Data and Analytics (D&A) in the audit which includes data extractions and analysis
  • Communicate with Audit engagement teams on the technical implications of D&A tools including extraction of data, processing of data and delivery of audit reports
  • Work with Audit engagement teams to identify the scope of D&A capabilities used in the audit, review the D&A-driven audit reports and understand the insights gained in the audit and how the analysis is used to plan and execute the audit
  • Prepare audit workpapers to document data processing procedures and data validations
  • Work with a range of technologies and data analysis tools including SQL, MSBI Suite, IDEA, Excel, Alteryx, Qlikview and Power BI
  • Partner with client technology teams to understand the technical configuration of the client’s environment and discuss the technical implications of performing the data extractions and further analysis needed by KPMG audit engagement teams under guidance from team leads

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent experience supporting the development and/or implementation of D&A technologies; preferably within a public accounting or consulting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a major in Accounting, Information Systems or related major with coursework in ERP systems, financial analysis, data analytics, business intelligence and/or visualization; Master’s degree preferred
  • Understanding or knowledge of SQL, MSBI Suite, IDEA, Alteryx, Qlikview and/or Power BI is preferred (200TEC)
  • US Citizenship is required
