You will be joining fast-paced Enterprise Information Management (EIM) teams in developing the data platform supporting SaaS applications for our franchise (US and Worldwide) offices and real estate agents to operate their independent real estate businesses.
We’re looking for an innovative, talented team member who has been working as a Software or Data Architect at an enterprise level to join our team! You will contribute to our data pipelines that are used every day in our internal and external products and services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other members of the Enterprise Information Management team to deliver best-in-class data pipelines supporting key data initiatives
  • Work in close collaboration with your data-minded colleagues focused on back-end Service Development, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to ensure the data meets their needs.
  • Collect input, direction, and requirements for new designs from business leaders, development team leads, and other stakeholders
  • Perform discovery and analysis of initiatives to clarify and enhance business requirements
  • Create design diagrams and supporting documentation to communicate technical implementations to development teams
  • Present designs to leadership and technical teams for feedback
  • Work with team leads and scum masters to break down work into iterative delivery approaches and actionable development tickets
  • Support team leads and developers during development process
  • Participate in software pull request review to help ensure implementation matches design


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from a 4-year college or university in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of software development and big data engineering experience with deep industry knowledge of best practices
  • Strong experience as an architect delivering designs for multiple teams
  • Excellence with Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Deep experience in designing and developing data pipelines
  • Experience building API services and web-based applications
  • Strong experience with cloud services, preferably GCP
  • Strong Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience developing data governance standards
  • Experience working in an Agile scrum environment including Git and CI/CD development tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for presenting technical vision to executive leadership


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • GCP experience with GCS, Cloud functions, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, BigQuery
  • Experience with MySQL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
  • Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform
  • Experience with additional languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash shell
