We are currently searching for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our Planning & Forecasting team. In this role, you will champion best practices in product data management to ensure optimal workflows and data integrity. You will lead projects of critical importance that impact Supply Chain goals and executables and affect our entire organization. As a data guru, you will drive complex data reporting and troubleshoot data integrity issues by formulating strategies, administering processes and utilizing resources. The successful candidate will be a true champion of change as well as a collaborator and communicator.
A day on the job looks like this:
- Generating existing reports, creating new reports based on provided requirements and writing requirements for future reports
- Reviewing existing department deliverables to find new efficiencies
- Proactively writing audits before issues occur in preparation of process changes or new company initiatives
- Writing new procedures with a focus on automation and linking systems together, keeping the company’s future state in mind
- Initiating and executing complex projects and process improvements inclusive of UAT and supporting high-level projects
- Executing complex planning and forecasting procedures based on report outputs
- Serving as subject-matter expert on Lakeshore systems
- Mentoring peers
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in data mining, statistical analysis, auditing and process improvements
- Advanced experience with building reports and using analytical tools with proficient ability to navigate multiple systems
- Microsoft Office Master skill level with a focus on the Excel features used in data manipulation, formatting and presentation for high-level impact reports
- Experience analyzing the relevant KPIs of Supply Chain and its supporting departments
- Adobe Certified Professional in Photoshop/InDesign with expert level execution to support company visual data story needs preferred
- Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various solutions
- Ability to understand and predict the implications of new information as it relates to problem solving
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to discover the underlying story within the data
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to translate complex results into easy-to-understand information
- Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools and evolving business situations
