Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to analyze data collected in a business environment using established as well as emerging data analytics and modelling techniques.
- Perform/study exploratory data analysis, develop/ test hypotheses to identify opportunities and strategize to enable data driven insights, and plan business recommendations using statistical methods.
- Build and deploy scalable predictive models like classification, regression, time series for solving business problems.
- Communication and story-telling abilities to collaborate with internal and client stakeholders.
- Closely interact with Business stakeholders from different functions to identify opportunities on New Dossier Development, owning up new recurring reports, and automation of existing reports, and occasionally support the Data Science team.
- Preparing documentations and specifications
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the analytical tools for Data Science like R, Python
- Good knowledge of SQL to write and execute complex queries for data extraction and data processing.
- Experience in building Statistical, Machine Learning models for solving business problems is preferred.
- Having experience working in cloud platforms like Hortonworks/AWS/Azure is an added advantage.
