Position Summary:
Process Analysts define, document, assess, and scrutinize the business processes of an organization or department and then identify areas for potential improvement. Their focus is on streamlining operations or developing solutions that allow for improved efficiency or increased productivity. They also ensure processes are aligned with organization objectives and guidelines. They meet with stakeholders across the organization to gather research, and also interact with outside vendors. They prepare documentation and develop recommendations. They may also design and implement tech-based programs to automate routine processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and conduct site observations to identify the equipment, methods, and personnel needed for effective processes.
  • Examine emerging business best practices and technological developments that can help to automate and streamline processes to help businesses perform more efficiently.
  • Gather information through process mapping, flow-charting, and workshops. This information can then be used to develop better process engineering.
  • Create reports and presentations utilizing qualitative analysis regarding companies, markets, and industry trends.
  • Prepare financial reports in support of monthly/quarterly business review meetings with senior management.
  • Conduct meetings with different stakeholders and participants in various parts of operational processes, analyze the information received.
  • Communicate with project controllers, project managers, cost center owners and accounting personnel to ensure that business operations are closely monitored and potential risks are mitigated.
  • Responsible for analyzing actual results against budget and/or forecast and communicating variances to senior management.
  • Analyze and review monthly financial results and ensure any identified errors are corrected timely
  • Gather data, analyze, and make recommendations to meet project objectives, prepare client presentations.


Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on multiple projects at an intermediate level
  • Experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing a technology plan including technical approach as well as the related business case for the use of that technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build consensus and to present complex presentations. Ability to explain complex technical detail and tradeoffs to non-technical associates.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience in an agile software development methodology
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and able to perform tasks independently from start to finish
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball”.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Microsoft Vizio
  • DevOps and GitHub
  • PMI-PBA Certification


Travel Requirements:

  • No travel required.

  • Normal Office Environment
  • Indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
