Description:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team at Legendary! You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of software-related projects across multiple customers. We are a start-up software company looking for a sharp individual with enough drive to learn quickly and deliver customer projects with a sense of urgency. This role will include travel to customer facilities, documenting all customer deliverables, participating and/or leading customer meetings, creating timelines and contributing to Project Plans. Concise and thorough communication is required in this role at Legendary Supply Chain, Inc.
General Responsibilities:
– Address, review, and complete assigned support tickets and tasks as routed.
– Manage incoming project requests, as well as any new requests.
– Project Management services, including coordinating all needed internal/external resources in order to deliver functionality according to the identified timeline and cost.
– Coordinate with Customer Support teams and Management to provide best-in-class service and support on new projects and any escalated support incidents.
– Provide escalated incident support services in coordination with other support teams.
– Create highly detailed and precise project plans.
– Provide detailed SOW’s (Statements of Work) to customers as needed.
This position requires close coordination with:
– All Management levels, including the CTO.
– Developers and Development Control Teams.
– Business Systems Analyst and Implementation Teams.
– Must be able to work with a sense of urgency and ownership of issues, maintain open and effective communication with internal management, as well as customer management teams.
– Provide project coordination services for needed internal/external resources in order to deliver functionality according to established timeline and cost parameters.
Hours:
– 40-hour weeks are standard, but hours outside of normal business hours are required to support project and operational needs.
– Weekend work varies depending on project needs.
– 20-40% travel is anticipated.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years project management experience in a technology environment.
– Minimum of 2 years exposure to accounting software implementations.
– SQL Database Management is a plus.
– Salesforce or CRM familiarity, including configuration (not required, but a plus).
– Experience in Project Management or as a super user in a service or purchasing organization.
– Previous management experience with the ability to mentor/coach technical and consulting staff.
– Experience with providing presentations to clients and prospects.
– Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills, anticipating and solving issues before they occur or become critical.
– Ability to establish and grow strong relationships with customer’s project team and sponsors.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, especially conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
– Microsoft Office Suite familiarity (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Education:
– Associate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree is a plus).
Compensation:
– $35,000 – $65,000 annually based on experience
– Eligibility for quarterly bonuses after the first year
