Your role will be to facilitate access to data within sales, financials and Key Performance Indicators within LEGO Education. You will co-own and further develop the current data model, merging data flows from various sources and ensuring the full organization is aware of the self-service reporting made available. In addition, you will design, develop and then continuously refine reporting and data analysis ‘tools’ within Power BI to help support particularly the commercial areas.
You will co-own the Business Intelligence backbone in LEGO Education, ensuring the architecture created is efficient and robust. Based on this solid data foundation, you develop intuitive and insightful reporting that primarily targets the commercial areas of LEGO Education: Sales, Marketing and Product Development. The criteria of success is a high use-ratio of our reports and general increase in data literacy across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Co-own the LEGO Education Power BI solution, ensuring the data model and pipelines are designed and built on clear definitions of metrics and dimensions
- Engage with internal users of the reporting platform and provide sparring on how BI can support their efforts, as we further develop our reporting solutions and analysis framework
- Collaborate across the business, enabling access to new data points
- As a strong advocate for data-driven decisions, you will continuously engage with various aspects of the business; ensuring our partners understand and use the reports and self-analysis tools developed
- Ensure consistent high-quality reporting in unison with other team members of FP&A
- Play a key role in bringing the capabilities of the commercial as well as operational areas of LEGO Education to the next level in the data self-service environment

- 3 to 5 years of experience working with data modelling, data governance and data visualization
- Experience in developing commercial reporting (sales, strategic dashboards, financials)
- Experience with Business Intelligence methodology, topologies and tools.
- Experience with Power BI. Knowledge of Power Query (M Query), DAX and SQL and Dataflows. Power Automate, MS Dynamics CRM, SAP, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio would be a plus
- Possesses a highly analytical approach. Passionate about data and raising data literacy
- Strong business insight; an ability to communicate effectively with senior partners, translating business needs into impactful solutions. Confidence to work independently and can navigate in a Matrix Organizational structure
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas.
