Job Description

During your time with Lennox, you will be given real-world projects and will partner with our business leaders to accomplish mission critical goals. Students who will be relocating during their internship / co-op, will have their travel expenses reimbursed along with being eligible for a housing allowance.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an intern, you will work with the IT eCommerce and cross-functional teams. This team is responsible for the B2B (Business to Business) eCommerce websites for the Residential businesses. In addition to eCommerce functionality, you will also gain exposure to the stages of a project implementation lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Understand, elicit, and gather business requirements to enhance eCommerce websites.
- Map the requirements into user stories or use cases.
- Provide functional and solution perspective.
- Design user interaction models, and workflows.
- Communicate conceptual ideas in easy-to-understand manner.
- Participate in testing activities to ensure the solution is of high quality and meets requirements.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Prior internship/project experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
- Grade Point Average of 3.0 and above.
- Understanding of IT and any concentrations within it including requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and web.
- Understanding of relevant IT software development lifecycles – Agile and Waterfall models.
- Ability to quickly learn and contribute to new projects and technologies.
- Self-driven, results oriented.
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
