About the Position:

The Media Analyst will join a cross-functional team of performance marketers focused on Higher Education clients and will contribute to the strategic and tactical online media analysis, buying and planning for the agency’s Education clients. Media performance is core to our company’s data-driven philosophy, so you will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals and objectives. This position is hiring in a $36 – 60K salary range.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work and will perform the work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor visas.

Your Impact:

  • Exporting and joining of data from multiple ad platforms and analytics sources to create data models for analysis
  • Analyze data and coordinate with media managers on trends, insights, and action recommendations
  • Dashboard, excel and PPT report building and updates
  • Media campaign platform builds, QA, and launch
  • Hands-on management of Paid Search (SEM), Paid Social, Display digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads, Facebook Business Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Google Display Network (GDN), Display & Video 360).
  • Optimize media performance based on agreed-upon KPIs: planning, management and hygiene, A/B testing, automation, and other strategies
  • Generate and provide insights for weekly/monthly media reporting
  • Keep up to date with latest industry and platform trends, features, and beta opportunities to better serve clients

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive; self-motivated
  • MUST HAVE – Hands-on management of Paid Search (SEM), Paid Social, Display digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads, Facebook Business Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Google Display Network (GDN), Display & Video 360).
  • MAJOR PLUS – Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Works well in a kinetic, deadline-driven agency environment
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficiency in data manipulation in excel and SQL
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics tools: Excel, Qlik (or a comparable visual BI platform like Mode, Tableau etc), Web Analytics, Marketing Analytics
  • Data analysis to glean insights and create action against data-driven trends
  • Basic statistical, algebraic math and accounting principles
  • Accountable for personal intellectual curiosity, staying up to speed in the dynamic, fast paced industry of Online Marketing
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in information systems, finance, statistics or related business/marketing courses
  • Project or work experience with data analysis
  • Project or work experience in digital marketing
  • Agency experience of any kind
