LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing global organization in the Chicago, IL area and they are looking to add a Replenishment Analyst to their established organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. You will be working directly with support control state inventory replenishment through the order to customer process. Utilize sales forecasts to plan inventory replenishment, investigate reconciliation issues, process returns, and slow moving inventory.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a replenishment analyst, inventory analyst, or supply planning analyst within a product-based consumer goods organization. You must have strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve inventory challenges. You will receive a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing inventory levels by reviewing sales forecast data with the goal to meet demand, maintain established inventory targets, and minimize costs while working closely with other teams (Commercial, Logistics, Planning, and Operations).
- Review inventory related returns, slow moving product, discontinued inventory, or product beyond shelf-life; actioning inventory transfers to ensure inventory levels are met.
- Research inventory discrepancies related to the reconciliation process to determine the root case of imbalances to ensure prompt correction of these issues. Further address root cause to ensure mitigation of repeat discrepancies issues.
- Build and maintain relationships among Operations, Commercial, Logistics, Market Readiness, Commercial Finance, Demand Planning, Distributors, and Suppliers.
- Manage and update warehouse and SKU specific data to support MRP, APO/SAP system and allow effective planning and execution. Also support ongoing process improvements in SAP/APO and reporting tools.
- Communicate any issues involving delays, special customer requirements, or impact to deadlines.
- Develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles that would impact supply of goods in replenishment when they occur within the supply chain.
- Collaborate or lead projects within the replenishment team and work with cross functional teams to create efficiencies, improve processes, or ensure adherence of activities.
- Action any SKU substitution or plant outage issues by reviewing and revising orders daily to maximize shipment and reduce market impact of any delays.
- Process service receipts and process financial invoices related to charges or activity within replenishment based on the ownership of each warehouse in a timely manner.
- Timely creation of revision of SOPs to ensure new and revised processes and transactions are correctly documented.
- Track and publish KPI performance against targets and identify and report root cause and correction actions during monthly meetings.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a replenishment analyst, inventory analyst, or supply planning analyst.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Industry:
- Previous consumer product goods industry experience.
