About the Team – Global Data Office
- Collect, Analyze and Investigate Data Models.
- Refine, implement, and maintain a broad data roadmap for our current and future Machine Learning Operations endeavors comprising of Model Analysis, Data Accuracy, Output Assessment and Model Training / Re-training.
- Translate this high-level plan into actionable epics in partnership with product owners as near-term plans are elaborated
- Articulate solutions /recommendations to business users. Presents analytical content concisely and effectively to non-technical audiences and influences non-analytical business leaders to drive major strategic decisions basis analytical inputs
- Govern Model Data consumed and published by Data Science Community
- Work with technical teams to define and govern data policy and methodologies
- Coordinate with stakeholders to assess needs that promote efficient, durable and cost-effective solutions and advise Agile development squads to realize those solutions.
- Collaborate with Domain Data Stewards to address Machine Learning Operations functions.
- Lead and Prioritize Feature Engineering efforts.
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing based on value delivery and customer needs.
- Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
- Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Ensure exemplary communication with all stakeholders including senior business leaders
- Coordinate, prioritize and efficiently allocate the team resources to critical initiatives: plan resources proactively, anticipate and actively manages change, sets stakeholder expectations as required, identifies operational risks and enable the team to drives issues to resolution, balances multiple priorities and minimizes surprise escalations
Responsibilities:
- Manages moderately to highly complex projects and recommends and implements new or enhanced data products to better meet stakeholder or customer needs by leading development of project backlogs and plans, including milestones and dates, identification of parties and processes impacted by a data solution
- Set the strategic vision and roadmap for data solutions
- Leads the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
- Ability to grasp new technologies needed to progress initiatives, while demonstrating an understanding of the use of data in solving a business use case
- Can create roadmaps for product delivery, innovate and create new product ideas. Can turn vague ideas or problems into a data product strategy
- Able to identify stakeholder and customer pain points and strategically address those concerns
- Able to describe value and influence the prioritization of data solutions
- Has a command of industry trends and an understanding of organizational processes
- Solid project management skills to ensure effective project execution. Expected to be a change agent across the organization
- Able to break down data issues and resolve them, by prototyping data solutions to meet the needs of both the organization and business customers
- Ability to think through proof-of-concept solutions and how they will be maintained, and can help assess whether proof-of-concepts are viable and scalable by partnering with IT
Qualifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Experience in communicating recommendations to senior business leaders preferred
- BA/BS, or relevant work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative discipline strongly preferred
- 7-10 years of experience working in coding and data solutions design principles, particularly in open source tools and technology
