Analyst/Senior Analyst, Product Research
- Likes digging into data and conducting analyses to monitor performance and drive design recommendations
- Has a passion for developing a deep subject matter expertise of telematics offerings
- Enjoys collaboration with cross-functional partners of diverse knowledge backgrounds and leverages those perspectives to produce well-rounded analyses
- Is self-driven and utilize critical thinking to propose innovative solutions to tough problems
- Approaches strategic analysis with an unbiased mindset and asks probing questions to discern appropriateness of data / analytical methods to make data-driven decisions
- Harbors excitement to find new ways of attacking multi-dimensional design considerations
- Establish and monitor success metrics for telematics portfolio to allow leadership visibility into the overall health of product performance
- Lead moderate to high complexity product analysis under general direction of the supporting team manager
- Initiate and participate in creative and innovative solution brainstorming leveraging expertise from cross functional partners both within Product & externally
- Conduct research of competitive environment and disruptive new entrants of telematics product offerings
- Communicate updates cross-functionally and to product leadership to gain alignment
- 2-3+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a financial services, customer and technology focused organization
- Strong analytical, collaboration, organization, and presentation skills. Experience being in the weeds of analysis but simplifying messages and recommendations for senior leaders.
- Strong desire to utilize statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SQL, PowerBI). Existing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently prioritize projects
- Bachelors or Master’s degree (ideally with an analytical discipline like Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics or Data Science)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, typically 4 years.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
- Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
