Summary

The Senior Analyst – Purchasing Administration (Data Projects) is leading substantial parts of multiple projects. The Senior Analyst requires superb attention to detail as well as a solid understanding of department processes and procedures. The Senior Analyst is responsible for presenting ideas and reports to upper management, reviewing processes and suggesting optimization opportunities. The role liaises with multiple stakeholders within the business, as well as external business partners such as suppliers and service providers.

What You’ll Do

• Implement and carry out processes and improvements designed by the Projects & Buying Systems Team
• Lead status meetings including preparation and documentation
• Develop handbooks, reports, presentations, and project plans
• Lead, track, and report on work packages and tasks on complex projects in deadline-driven environment
• Conduct vetting of external partners
• Manage changing workloads and conflicting priorities
• Plan and manage multiple complex projects independently
• Carry out research, analysis, testing, and liaise with internal and external teams to source relevant data
• Train or guide the work of other team members on occasion
• Escalate issues proactively to Manager in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree and 4 – 6 years of experience in related field
• 2 – 4 years of experience in related field required.
• VBA and Excel experience
• SQL & PowerBI experience
• Light Coding
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to evaluate processes for optimization purposes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to take ownership of tasks to ensure accuracy and completion within given deadline
