JOB SUMMARY: The role of the IT Data Quality Analyst is to own, investigate, and resolve data quality issues in the CRM and associated Systems, via matching, integration, merging, deletion, and in application Form creation, while safeguarding against data loss. This individual is also expected to take a lead in preventing data quality issues by identifying frequent user errors, and working with business units to strengthen user competence, and place the correct validations in place to prevent data corruption.

  • Identify and ensure the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a timely fashion.
  • Periodically devise, coordinate, and conduct mass data-cleansing initiatives for the purpose of purging and eliminating corrupt, duplicate or redundant information from corporate databases.
  • Identify causes of poor data quality, implement solutions and communicate findings to employees, management, and stakeholders.
  • Create new reports and maintain/enhance existing reports using Microsoft reporting services in SSRS and Crystal Reports.
  • Create new Forms within the EMR software (TIER), to facilitate better data entry and integrity, as well as new requests from outlying departments.
  • Migrate legacy reports into SSRS.
  • Utilize SQL Server tools to make sure reporting queries are tuned and optimized.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for the various business units, with automation as required.
  • Provide re-useable and flexible queries and data extract programs to business units.
  • The IT Data Quality Analyst will create, test, document and maintain reports from company databases using Crystal Reports and SSRS, as well as create, test, and document new Forms within the TIER software platform.
  • This position requires good communication skills and must work with staff from all departments in the organization to build accurate and easy to understand reports and forms based on their requirements.
  • This individual will use proven knowledge of specialized software development tools to create reports and forms as required.
  • The IT Data Quality Analyst is also responsible for proactively developing and compiling graphs, reports and data entry forms based on his or her findings, complete with recommended improvements to or new requirements for business processes, operational procedures, and their corresponding reporting structures.
  • This person is also responsible for ensuring that the reporting database is updated as needed for reporting accuracy and efficiency.

  • Strong understanding of data entry/update best practices.
  • Good understanding of SSMS tools for query development and tuning
  • Good understanding of VB Scripting, .NET, and T-SQL
  • Should be able to create scripts and macros in Microsoft Office
  • Must have a good grasp of intermediate SQL query writing and understanding
  • Knowledge of .NET, IIS a plus
  • Good understanding of relational databases.
  • Good understanding of data reporting tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports.


KNOWLEDGE AND JOB SKILLS:
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Ability to conduct research into data issues. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
:


  • Education
    :
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technologies or related degree required
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of Four (4) years’ experience, (2) years’ experience in Report Writing, (2) years’ experience SQL Server T-SQL required


TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
