The Business Analyst will engage with clients and internal business partners in support of the implementation of our Ariel EAS application. The Business Analyst will be responsible for collecting and analyzing business requirements for client implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed functional specifications used by clients, business partners and development teams related to the implementation and/or configuration of our integrated benefits solution;
  • Document business and operational needs in the context of implementation with workflow automation;
  • Analyze and understand business processes, while linking them to the information used in the various benefits management systems (payroll, financial transactions, document management, reporting, telephony, etc);
  • Participate in the creation and review of new solutions with solution architects, functional leads, and the development team;
  • Establish the scope and criteria for testing and work closely with the quality assurance team during execution;
  • Follow up with the various stakeholders regarding any changes made during the course of the implementation;
  • Build knowledge of industry topics and trends through internal training, external training and self-study, as appropriate;
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration or related work experience in business requirements analysis for HR/payroll or other technology-intensive environment;
  • Solid understanding of

    • Web and mobile user experience design
    • Communication methods and strategies
    • Requirements gathering and verification
    • Project management
  • Exceptional customer focus and strong professional acumen
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise good judgment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technology
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and similar project management approaches
  • Excellent understanding of negotiation, conflict management and risk management skills
