What you’ll be doing
- Partners with manager/team leads to learn about potential security, legal, and ethical risks of data.
- Partners with manager/team leads to complete EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) on prepared data to summarize main characteristics, identify potential issues, ensure accuracy.
- Completes training to expand knowledge of data infrastructure, statistical concepts, and basic modeling techniques.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Partners with manager/team leads to create sets of structured and unstructured data while learning best practices for data aggregation, integration, and storage.
- Partners with manager/team leads to learn best practices for leveraging stakeholder knowledge/resources needed for clear definitions and data understanding.
- Partners with manager/team leads to learn the process for identifying business problems that can be solved with data analytics.
- Researches existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques.
- Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Partners with manager/team leads to create visualizations & data storylines to share results with stakeholders and communicate actionable insights using data.
- Partners with manager/team leads to learn about relevant data resources.
- Partners with manager/team leads to process and clean data according to best practices.
- Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Uses statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) – Minimum Required
- 0 – 1+ Years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Biostatistics, or similar relevant field that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
