About the role:

Liquid I.V. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Liquid IV’s business processes. This may include developing and implementing new systems, modifying existing systems, and integrating systems across different departments or business units.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and translates these into technical specifications for the development team.
  • Conduct analysis to identify problems and opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions to address them.
  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements of system, as well as any constraints or assumptions that need to be taken into account.
  • Identify and execute measurable process improvements using automation capability with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Manage scope, internal and external resources, schedule, and requirements for key projects, ensuring a continuous stream of process improvement initiatives.
  • Test and debugging systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Provide training and support to users on new or modified systems.
  • Monitor and report on system performance.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of project plans and budgets.
  • Facilitate detailed discussions with users to determine requirements, document system enhancements or modification requests, and to develop detailed project specifications; ensure related project management documentation is prepared.
  • Participate in research projects to assess and evaluate new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Add/Edit/disable user accounts and security roles.
  • Monitor batch jobs and overall system health.
  • Coordinate/Facilitate Change/Release management processes.
  • Manage Major/Minor upgrades.
  • Coordinate downtime for maintenance.
  • First point of contact for power users to contact when things do not go as expected.
  • Database monitoring and maintenance, running clean up jobs (inventory, warehouse, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field such as technical analyst, technical project manager/lead, or systems analyst.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as agile or waterfall, and experience applying these methods to technical projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies and systems, such as databases, programming languages, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards, as applicable.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment with flexibility for industry events. Most responsibilities of this job will be handled from the office and up to 10% travel.
