THE TEAM

You will be joining our Network Services team who are responsible for all network technology within our data centres, contact centres and Ticketmaster Client VPN connectivity services across the globe. The team is a lean group of engineers sharing the passion for networking, automation and continuous improvement following agile principles.

THE JOB

Are you our next network engineer to join our team? We see that you have a passion for technology, willing to roll up the sleeves but also curious about the future network evolution. If the answer is yes you will play an important role using your knowledge and desire to learn new skills delivering planned work and day to day tasks.

It’s a great time to join Live Nation Entertainment: We are currently refreshing our infrastructure in our datacenters and implementing self-service and automation to manage and operate our network infrastructure.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Maintain a large number of network devices.

  • Look for opportunities to improve the network stability performance and management.

  • Work on projects as an individual or in groups within our organisation

  • Provide support and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.

  • Plan schedule and implement changes into our infrastructure.

  • You will work on keeping the network security compliant.

  • Participate in on-call rotation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)

  • Good Knowledge and experience preferably with Cisco, Arista and Fortinet based network environments

  • Good knowledge of Firewalls, Routers and Switching

  • Experience with network monitoring.

  • Proven experience in deploying, managing and supporting network services in a large and complex environment

  • Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills

  • Experience with BGP, EIGRP, STP and L4-7 SLB

  • Knowledge of IP packet structure and packet analysis

  • Experience in network security

  • Experience with VPN/tunnelling technologies such as DMVPN, VTI, IPsec and SSL client VPN’s

  • Knowledge of programming language preferable python

  • Knowledge of and experience working with tooling such as Git and Ansible is a plus
