Description:Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company based in Stratford, CT, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for military and commercial missions. The Army Systems group within Sikorsky encompasses key customer-facing roles with the responsibility to ensure support of the U.S. Army. The Army line of business is seeking an experienced professional to work as part of the Program Management team to provide business management support as the Army Business Office Project Analyst.

The Project Analyst will have the responsibility to support the flawless execution of all contractual obligations under the Army line of business. The Army Business Office core focus areas include capture management, business processes alignment, proposal preparation and contract closeout across the Multi-Year, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Support Service Contracts (SSC)/modernization segments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops, plans, and schedules proposals for Army Programs in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, and other government regulations.
  • Shapes, develops, and matures business case analysis and cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy.
  • Work with program leadership and functional areas to implement process improvements for greater affordability while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Builds executive level presentations and presents recommendations to leaders.
  • Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team and interacts with multiple customer counterparts.


Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS degree w/ 4+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility. MA/MS degree w/ 2+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility including experience in proposal management, business management, finance, contracts, and/or program management.

  • Energetic, organized, and results driven, the Business Office Project Analyst will have strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to establish positive relationships with various customers, teammates, and subcontractors is required.
  • The individual will also have solid written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Previous proposal, program, or capture management experience.
  • Familiarity with RMS Business Models, Rate Structures, BOE and Pricing Tools.
  • Familiarity with H-60 aircraft.
  • Familiarity with Avionics.
