Description:The successful candidate will be responsible leadership, management and strategic development of the Core Data Analytics team functioning within the Quality and Aviation Safety organization of RMS. As leader of the RMS QA Core Data Analytics team, this role will support technology implementation and data analytics efforts across RMS. Interfacing with senior leadership, other analytics professionals, and Subject matter experts in various areas of technology. You will get hands-on with the latest technology and lead a team that manages projects to implement this technology into the factory of the future. The candidate must demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership attributes, and must establish effective relationships across Quality, Sourcing, Operations, and Engineering, to drive affordability and performance improvement initiatives.
Position is remote, however periodic travel to Lockheed Martin sites may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience including project management
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team (building effective relationships across the enterprise)
- Desire to learn new systems and lead institutional culture change
- Experience with advanced analytics techniques including Machine Learning, Stochastic Modeling, Predictive Analysis, and Natural Language Processing
- Familiarity with Computer Environments and languages to include: Tableau, SQL, R, Python, Matlab, MS Office, and Unity
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develops solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives with a business-oriented approach
- Ability to travel

Basic understanding of Alteryx, Tableau and Airtable
