The Flight Controls and Autonomy team is currently seeking highly motivated technology pioneers with a desire to steer and lead the Autonomy industry. Successful candidates must be willing and able to work on highly complex challenging problems, leading to world-changing technological breakthroughs.
Team’s technical areas of emphasis include Fly-By-Wire Flight Control Systems, Guidance/Navigation & Control (GNC), Flight Test, Autonomy, Aviation Robotics, Perception, AI and Motion Planning.
The Flight Controls Data Analyst will work closely with the team’s functional management to streamline data collection and generation across the many programs under our oversight. Through the use of various scripting languages and tools, the data analyst will enable automation for software metrics, verification and validation metrics, process optimization, hiring activities, and other internal data collection activities. The primary focus is on reducing cost while utilizing cutting-edge technologies and software development principles to optimize our business practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
Desired Skills:
- Highly skilled in Python, Perl, and other programming languages for data analytics
- Experience in SQL
- Skilled in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Usage of Tableau Dashboard and Data Visualization
- Data driven: use real-world data to drive process
- Interest in working with management for continual process improvement
- Performs analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
- Cleaning and preparing data
- Visualization techniques and web page design.
