Job Location: Chennai
The Role:
The Junior Data Scientist ideal candidate will work in the Data Science team from the Analytics & Machine Learning department and will run analytical experiments and will regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches. He/She will implement models to fit the strategy defined at the team level. His/Her responsibilities ranges from solution proposal to project implementation. He/She will work in our European Headquarter based in Lausanne.
One major aspect of his role is the interaction with the Business Group departments. He/She will work closely with our IT center based in Chennai and with various actors in our regional headquarters (Europe, America and Asia-Pacific).

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
- Good familiarity with Python
- Good knowledge of Unsupervised and Supervised ML algorithms including Neural Networks /Deep Learning
- Familiarity with Text Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Social Network Graphs
- Understanding of Business purpose of a project
- Ability to transition from the Proof of Concept phase to a final application
- Ideally, already had exposure to large data sets

Education:
- Bachelor degree in Business Analytics or Engineering with a background in statistics
