Years of Experience:
- 3-6 years of prior business analytics experience, preferably 3 years in a Retail
Education Qualification & Certifications:
- Graduate (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc.) or Master s in Analytics, Finance, or related Quantitative fields
- Certification course in Business Analytics
Core Responsibilities:
- Forecast Margin/Sales Impact to the business due to various credit programs/events and financing offers.
- Provide strategic insights, measurement of Credit Financing Offers, and performance analysis of customer acquisition programs/events, leverage financial/statistical modeling skills to draw meaningful insights.
- Build complex financial models and analytical tools, perform sensitivity and Scenario analysis, risk and Impact assessment of credit offers on total company margin$.
- Develop a methodology for in-store and digital credit application forecasts to drive maximum portfolio growth.
- Deliver Customer Insights & Analytics through customer lifetime value models, Service, and channel preference models, Cross / up-sell models, and recommend creative solutions to further propel credit business.
- Design, develop & deliver insightful financial reporting, dashboards/Scorecards, and analyses for leadership teams, automate credit reporting, and optimize reporting architecture to reside within sustainable systems such as PowerBI, DART, MicroStrategy, etc.
- Serve as a key business partner working directly with leadership and other stakeholders to influence financial performance, lead without authority across the immediate team, and the extended Finance team to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork that will enable the achievement of the team s goals.
Primary Skills (must have):
- Hands-on experience & In-depth understanding of data analysis, machine learning techniques, Multivariate Time Series Forecasting (ARIMAX, SARIMAX) & Linear Regression Models
- Strong data collection, collation, and cleansing skills using tools like SQL, R/Python, and Alteryx/Knime
- Knowledge of any one of the data visualization tools like PowerBI or MicroStrategy
- Proficient in Excel (Power Pivots, Power Query, VBA) and PowerPoint
- Ability to see the bigger picture by connecting dots between multiple projects driven within the team
- Exceptional analytical skills, highly detail-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities, experience working cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders across locations
- Effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders to prioritize projects with the most impact on
- operational goals
- In-depth knowledge of diverse retail functions and principles
