Financial Analyst, Services Finance
We are seeking an intellectually curious individual Financial Analyst to support the Services organization within Lowe’s. The Financial Analyst for Services will be responsible for providing critical analyses, insights, and reporting. This includes but is not limited to providing explanations of key variance drivers to plan and forecast and the impact those variances potentially have on future periods. The role will also support business case development and the annual operational planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver insightful financial reporting and analyses for the Services business unit
- Create and/or enhance existing models used to analyze and review Services financial performance
- Manage routine processes and reporting across finance, including leadership presentations
- Assist the Services finance team with other financial analysis and business reporting with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Critical thinking, enthusiasm towards solving problems, and ability to work cross functionally
- Ability to translate business plans into functional forecasts, models, and reports
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of business and/or economics as well as oral
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance or analytical role
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with financial forecast or analytical modeling
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based systems, such as IBM Planning Analytics (PAX or TM1) or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools, such as MicroStrategy, Business Objects, or Teradata.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
