Job Detail:
Responsibilities
- Support the completion of the departmental project plan and contribute where required to other company-wide projects impacting the AP and AR functions.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of business tools used within the AP and AR functions in order to assist with technical issue resolution and to identify areas for future improvement
- Perform root cause analyses of process flows and data to proactively identify impacts to business performance, efficiency and productivity and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Facilitate change management activities for end users related to new processes, systems, tools, etc.
- Collaborate with all levels of leadership across the organization to identify departmental procedural issues or inefficiencies impacting the organization as a whole and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
- Perform Ad Hoc department reporting including collecting and interpreting data from appropriate sources, identifying trends and communicating pertinent information to senior management using applicable tools such as Excel, PowerPoint or Power BI.
- Treat confidential information responsibly and in accord with LSC guidelines.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Accounting or a discipline related to functional work or role or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of data management and reporting experience, preferred. Willing and able to travel 10% of the time (mostly local but could involve domestic and overnight).
- Technical knowledge of data analysis, data evaluation, data visualization, possible data mining along with the creation of building queries, reports and/or presentations. Experience with accounts payable and receivable reporting, bad debt methodology and/or general ledger reporting.
- Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance. Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
- Advanced functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments. May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position. Experience working in an ERP environment (SAP preferred) and/or with Advanced Excel, Power BI and SAP BW.
- Requires professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments including all levels of LSC leadership, as well as internal and external customers and vendors.
