About this team:
The lululemon Marketing Technology Team oversees the technical aspects of lululemon’s marketing technology stack. We aim to provide world class shopping experiences for our guests by enabling data to effectively personalize communication to guests. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual who is excited about delivering data-driven capabilities to meet lululemon’s growing marketing, insights, analytics, and intelligence capabilities leveraging the best-in-class industry proven solutions. This individual must have a track record of working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and should take pride in evolving the entire organization to create the future data technology platform for growth. This person should have experience in retail and a background in project management with marketing technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes, performing data analysis and recommending new solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities
- Directly author supplemental requirement artifacts such as process flows, context diagrams, use cases
- Establish meaningful traceability between business requirements, technical requirements, and architecture design which illustrates a deep understanding of business processes and the technology ecosystem
- Employ skills in Project management, business analysis and operational excellence
- Map and illustrate how applications are connected and how data flows throughout the technology ecosystem and understand digital marketing platform integrations with IT systems
- Interface with business partners, technology resources, architecture, and quality assurance teams to translate and streamline requirements; this role will also ensure requirements are met throughout the entire SDLC
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience performing in the capacity of a Business Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with major Customer Data Platform, Marketing Clouds (Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle..) as a Business Analyst or in a similar role is a plus
- Experience as a Business Analyst working with customer data in a B2C retail and/or ecommerce company is a big plus
- Demonstrated ability to use SQL to perform basic queries and analysis
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Experience in applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities, planning and independently executing tasks in a structured manner
- Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills with ability to tailor communication style based on audience
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and develop strong interdepartmental and cross functional working relationships within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to explain technical details to non-technical person in business terms
- Experienced in capturing requirements and delivering in an Agile environment (JIRA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office technologies (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Power Point)
