Join our team in Group Treasury as a Data and Analytics Trainer/Learning Designer, where you will work in the financial centre of Macquarie, driving real change for our businesses. You will be part of a rapidly evolving function that is curious and not afraid to ask, ‘how can we do better?’
In this team, our goal is to optimise and implement standardised, best practice ways of using our data platforms and tools across the group. As a Data Subject Matter Expert, you will bring your knowledge of Power BI or Alteryx to contribute to the development of training resources for hundreds of data users in Group Treasury. As a result, we will gain consistency in shared knowledge of our data tools to create a centre of excellence.
This role will support the group strategy by uplifting the data and digital capability and adoption in Group Treasury. As a Data and Analytics Trainer/Learning Designer, you are expected to leverage your data knowledge, people skills and learning & development (L&D) experience to:
- Drive and support the adoption of data tools and products
- Create, access, and deliver training contents, both digital and in-person, on key data skills together with L&D to create consistency in
- Contribute to the best practices and governance policies for key data tools and support the implementation
You’ll bring a passion for knowledge sharing and developing teams to implement consistency in best practice use of tooling. Ideally, you’ll have prior experience in Power BI or Alteryx, but above all you’ll be motivated to drive change and scope out a new learning environment which is palatable for technical and non-technical users. You can also further develop new data skills, such as Python, R etc. Previous experience in L&D or user developed application (UDA) governance will be highly desired.
