Join us as a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer and leverage your strong cloud/developer background working closely with our business on developing and supporting critical cloud solutions while being part of a supportive and inclusive culture.
This opportunity will see you become part of a team helps drive our businesses infrastructure and cloud capabilities by providing complex solution designs. You will need to be passionate about providing the best solutions within a dev/ops environment, with the aim of providing our businesses with robust yet flexible and agile systems to meet our client’s needs.
In this role your key responsibilities include developing and maintaining cloud pipeline code within an agile environment. You will support a broad range of cloud hosted services and proactively develop and engineer cloud services with the aim of getting the most out of continuous integration and continuous development. You will be working collaboratively with our dev/ops and core services engineering teams with an own it end-to-end mindset to deliver innovative solutions.
To be successful in this role you will bring an ability to own the end-to-end process of supported platforms and have a strong learning mindset along with experience in cloud orchestration and development. You will proactively navigate changing priorities and demonstrate an understanding and adherence to enterprise risk management principles and technical standards. You will have background in enterprise class cloud and infrastructure solutions design and delivery and bring technical knowledge and proven experience of public cloud and on-prem foundational services deployments. You will also have technical knowledge of two or more of the following areas:
- AWS services including storage tiers, EC, routing and Lambda
- Linux operating systems
- Redhat Pacemaker
- CloudFormation
- Scripting/coding – Bash, Ruby, Ansible, Python, json/yaml, mustache
- SQL, Oracle databases and Oracle Dataguard.
