Join an expanding Risk Surveillance team working across our Global Risk Surveillance Program. As part of this initiative, we are looking for an experienced Risk Surveillance Analyst who can carry out business surveillance across the firm’s business and support groups.
As an Associate/Senior Associate (L1/L2) in our Gurugram office, you will work in the Risk Surveillance team to implement the Global Surveillance Program across the firm. You will apply your good understanding of the business, financial product, policies as you review alerts. This includes interacting with colleagues in the global team and the Risk Surveillance function to identify patterns and behaviours indicating market abuse and misconduct; integrating communications, trades and other data points and techniques to deliver comprehensive investigation. You will also provide adequate documentation of alerts and their resolution, contribute to monthly management information packs for the various regions for presentation to Senior Management, maintain the documentation of surveillance parameters and system/user procedures, and assist with the UAT of new systems/models as appropriate.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge of the financial markets, understanding of the business and policies, to showcase a quality investigation and analysis of alerts using all available resources. A successful candidate will have strong analytical and investigative mindset, attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills and ability to manage through the day today deadlines. We are looking for a resource who has the ability to develop relationships across various stakeholders.
This role requires a bachelor’s degree, and relevant experience in business, banking and finance, economics or another relevant business and finance discipline. Prior experience with trading in financial markets and investment funds, their operation and the potential for mishandling or manipulation would be preferred.
