Job Location: Gurugram
Join us as a Senior/Lead Data Engineer with a desire to work in a DevOps environment. You will have end-to-end accountability for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting your data assets as well as creating templates and implementation methods, standards and frameworks while growing your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering finance, risk and reg use-cases through enterprise scale data platforms. You will be also responsible for working with big data with experience in solution architecture and high-level design. You will have an ability to present options and drill down to low level designs, recommendations, estimation, and technical planning.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong and proven hands-on experience in implementing data integration tools (such as Talend, Data Stage or Informatica), data warehouses, data lakes, and BI reporting tools along with excellent SQL and scripting skills. You will be experienced with big data and Hadoop with a focus on Spark, Hive, Presto (or other query engines), big data storage formats (such as Parquet, ORC, Avro), Bamboo/Ansible (or other CICD tools) and Airflow (or other data pipeline orchestration tools).
You should have data architecture experience (including different data modelling techniques such as 3NF models, star schemas or Data Vault), data governance and in the broader information management domain along with strong technical experience working in the finance, regulatory and risk industries You also should have working experience with AWS – any or all of EC2, S3, RDS, EMR.
You will lead a team of engineers and have persuasive communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. You should also have experience working in a DevOps model in an Agile environment and extensive experience in financial services, preferably banking domain.
