Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
- Analyse and organize raw data
- Build data systems and pipelines
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with other data scientists and architects on several projects
- Interpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Build algorithms and prototypes
- Combine raw information from different sources
- Develop analytical tools and programs
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
- Must have rich experience in using query languages such as Python, SQL.
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Pandas, NumPy, sclearn etc.
- Experience in ETL tools like Airflow etc
- Experience on any Cloud preferably GCP.
- Great communication skills
- Experience with any data visualisation tools.
- Good to have Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Good scripting and programming skills
- Data-oriented personality
