We are looking Lead Data Engineer for Chennai location in one of the leading Wind turbine Manufacturer companies.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop data pipelines and transformations to support Analytics initiatives
- Create new insights through programming and integration of new data sources deployed in BI tools to improve transparency and enable better administration
- Design and Maintain focused data models to support front end dashboards
- Continuous improvement of existing data models through own initiative
- Support with preparation of datasets for advanced analytics required for strategic Management initiatives
- Support with developing and tracking key business & operational performance indicators
Qualifications
- Background in Engineering / Applied Statistics at Bachelors with 5+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer in a multi-cultural / international organizations
- Relevant experience in advanced SQL programming
- Hands on in cloud based data tools
Competencies
- Skilled working experience in Cloud based data tools is mandatory – e.g. Azure Datalake / Databricks / Datafactory / Synapse / Analysis Services / LogicApp, etc
- Efficient working experience in database tools like SQL Server, Azure Storage is mandatory
- Working knowledge in Python programming and hands on in Power BI is a good to have
- Work structured and systematic and have a consistent attention to detail, which enables you to meet deadlines
