As part of the newly formed MGS (Mars Global Services) R&D team, we are now seeking to appoint a new Asia Pacific R&D Regional FA (Functional Analyst) Lead. This role will work effectively with various stakeholders and functions in Corporate, Segments and in Mars Digital Technologies to improve our digital R&D products, to support compliance with our R&D process and ensure user efficiency in using our R&D system. This role will also manage a team of 7 Functional Analysts. Each Functional Analyst will be responsible to support a subset of the R&D digital Capabilities
This role can be based in Australia (Wodonga Vic, Ballarat Vic, Wyong NSW) Thailand (Chon Buri), India (Pune) or China (Beijing-Huairou). Working in a hybrid model, we expect ~50% home site attendance and candidates need to be based within commuting distance from one of these Mars sites. This is a great opportunity to commence in a newly structured R&D team.
What are we looking for?
- demonstrated line management skills across a multicultural team at different sites across Asia Pacific.
- Experience in developing Talent and engagement levels in a team
- Strong project and/or program management skills supported by strong attention to details both RD and or IT functions with a track record for delivering projects and ability to influence others across segments and regions
- good interpersonal and communication skills with experience in working on global environment ideally with different business segments and different cultures.
- Experience in R&D / Quality systems
- Experience in Manufacturing and or supply chain
- Fluent in English
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Leadership – build a highly engaged and professional R&D team within the region.
- Business Process – Ensures all defined program management and operational tools are in place.
- Communication – responsible for cascading system changes to key users/end users.
- Issue resolution – Accountable for “excellence in execution of signature processes” and services (including issue resolution, data analysis, reporting and testing)
- Overseeing testing, deployment and knowledge management undertaken by the Functional Analysts team
