Job Title: Programmer/Analyst Cost Center: 101651144 IS-Development Svcs Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (United States of America) Job Description: Under the direction of senior personnel, the Programmer/Analyst is involved in most phases of the development process. This includes gathering specifications, creating and refining functionality specifications, conducting the analysis and design, programming, testing, documenting, assisting in implementation, and resolving of issues. The ability to work and thrive in a team environment is critical. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or technical field required. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degrees (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Math, Management Information Systems, or Web Development preferred. Formal education in C++, .NET, Web Development or Database Development preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum Experience Required: Applicable development experience in a work environment similar to that of Marshfield Clinic is required. Preferred/Optional Experience: Programming experience in C++, .NET, Web Development or Database Development preferred. Healthcare, insurance, accounting, or systems programming experience preferred. Development experience with Microsoft Windows, client/server systems in a high volume environment preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing: Preferred/Optional: Microsoft Professional Developer certification.
