Job Detail:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing new software-based applications for the Indian Railways. Additionally, you will modify, test, and implement existing software systems to ensure their seamless operation. This role requires collaboration with the Telecom department to develop applications that integrate with electronic equipment (such as Relay Boards). No prior knowledge of electronics is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, test, and implement new software applications tailored for Indian Railways.
– Modify, test, and implement existing software to enhance functionality and performance.
– Collaborate with the Telecom department to ensure software applications are in sync with electronic equipment.
– Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
– Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide input on software development projects.
– Document software functionalities and provide technical support as needed.
#### Skills Required:
**Front End:**
– ASP.NET
– HTML
– C#
– JavaScript
**Back End:**
– SQL
– Stored Procedures in SQL
#### Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
– Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
