Analyst, Customer Compliance & Fraud

Role
- Preserve the integrity of the Mastercard brand by ensuring customer performance with Mastercard Rules and Standards
- Conduct investigations to support Mastercard performance programs related to illegal activity and violation of Mastercard Standards
- Investigate and resolve inquiries from across the business and recommend solutions related to potential rule violations
- Must be able to independently identify performance issues, develop a resolution process and coordinate with relevant group or groups which may be impacted
- Must be able to think “outside the box” and offer the most efficient and practical solution
- Analyze fraud trends and establish/leverage relationships with key stakeholders to develop actions plans to resolve
- Lead training and support to issuing and acquiring customers to increase awareness of Mastercard Rules and Standards
- Develop and assimilate new processes to enhance performance program initiatives
- The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and people management capabilities
All About You
- Basic knowledge of Unix / Linux platforms (including command line, shell scripting), Microsoft BI stack (including DAX and PowerPivot)
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying various data platforms (e.g. Oracle, SAS, Hadoop Hive/Impala/Spark, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of Python (Pandas, Numpy, Pyspark) to perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and processing
- Experience with Tableau, Domo, or other comparable business intelligence tools
- Experienced in risk management disciplines
- Requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the frequency of communicating with high-level internal and external contacts, as well as, regular exposure to confidential data
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently in developing and mapping out solutions
- Advanced analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Robust project management skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
