Analyst – Compliance Services (Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption)

OVERVIEW

The Anti-Corruption team within Mastercard’s Global Compliance group has built a robust testing and monitoring program that measures and reports how well Mastercard offices are performing against internal standards and regulatory requirements. The Global Business Services Center (GBSC), Mastercard’s shared services organization, supports the Global Compliance team in meeting its obligations.

The Analyst, Compliance Services role is located in the GBSC and reports to the Manager, GBSC Compliance Services. The Analyst will support Global Compliance & Ethics by 1) performing tests of Compliance control effectiveness, 2) following up on testing results, and 3) creating summarized reporting of results for sharing with Mastercard stakeholders.

Role

  • Perform detailed tests of Compliance controls based on documented testing steps
  • Summarize and communicate results of testing in a timely, clear, and concise manner
  • Apply critical thinking to interpret data and documentation to determine compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, and document rationale
  • Summarize and incorporate test results and data sets into informative management reporting
  • Suggest improvements in testing and monitoring program
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to identify and solve challenges in test execution

ALL ABOUT YOU

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years’ experience performing control tests, particularly in an audit capacity
  • Compliance or risk management experience in the financial services, banking or card payment industry preferred

KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with data analysis, ACL GRC, Alteryx, and Tableau is helpful
  • CIA, CFE, or other relevant Compliance Certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act
  • Fluency in additional languages preferred
