The Loyalty – Offers team is a collaborative organization and this role will interface with various global teams to serve our clients. This role will be on a team of high performing, co-located individuals representing different functional web development roles with all the necessary skills to create enterprise capabilities for LoyaltyOffers. Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions. Defines requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practices

Role:
This position will develop, deliver and support the LoyaltyOffers Platform. The objective for this role is to provide strong technical leadership for website development that leverages big data stores and real time data streams.
- Leads the design, development, implementation, and delivery for engineering efforts for Loyalty Offers
- Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code for a medium to large/complex component or feature that is modular, functional and testable.
- Have strong ownership of your team’s software and are deep in the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties and dependencies including hardware, operating system, and build.
- Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.
Design and build technical road-maps and guide the development staff on adoption
- Create or introduce, test, and deploy new technology to optimize the service
All About You:
- Strong foundation in data structures and core computer science concepts.
- Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Angular, Scala, C++, etc.
- Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Formally supervises, coaches, and develops a work group/team
- Ensures own team(s) compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal process
- Coach and guide employees within own team(s)
- Provides strategic leadership related to specific applications and systems, or software-development methodologies
- Provides coaching and guidance to own Software Engineering teams
Experiences
- IT experience in all phases of the development lifecycle and in relationship building with business clients
- Experienced in engaging external IT vendors, including managing vendor selection and maintenance of vendor relations
