Position description
Performs various support functions in research laboratory using proper procedures to safely handle patient level data. Works closely with other Allied Health and researchers to coordinate project needs and prioritize work. Knowledge of medical terminology and the medical record is strongly preferred. Works under direct supervision. Attention to detail is essential while dealing with multiple tasks. Flexibility is important in adjusting to frequent changes in work volume. (011380)
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Additional qualifications
Coursework in mathematics and relevant sciences. Must have previous work experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. Requires manual dexterity, accurate typing, and good communication skills. Must be able to prioritize and adjust to changes in work volume. Experience with Excel software is preferred.
