Salaried Grade 6, 8 or 9, depending on qualifications.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with other hours as required by business needs
Job Summary
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will conduct research into benefit related data to gain insights for future projects and initiatives. They will possess a deep understanding of data gathering, data storage and methods of data sharing. They may assist the department manager in the development, implementation and administration of various compensation related processes and programs.
- Actively utilizes data warehouse to collect, store and analyze information related to employee benefits
- Leads implementation of projects or problem-solving teams
- Assists with benefit vendor selection and implementation
- Manages and analyzes benefit and wellness data to provide actionable information and insights
- Develops and provides visual reporting to various audiences to ensure understanding of benefit trends
- Monitors benefit trends and makes suggestions for improvement of benefit programs
- Develops ROI analysis for various wellness and benefits programs
- Develops performance metrics and creates informative dashboards
- Develops forecasting methodology for premium planning purposes
- Aggregates and analyzes data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency
- Stays current with industry trends and changes in benefits and compensation
- Communicates effectively with all levels of stakeholders as appropriate, including executives, internal departments, and external vendors
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in business, accounting, economics, medical or related field
- 3 years of related experience and data analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations to leadership
- Experience with joining multiple datasets
- Strong reporting and presentation skills with the ability to interpret in-depth information
- High level of critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- High level of confidentiality (ability to be trained and certified as HIPAA privacy compliant)
- Excellent planning and follow-up skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mastery of the English language possessing grammatical, composition, and editing skills
- Ability to initiate, compose, transcribe and edit to produce high-quality documents and correspondence
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or similar advanced degree
- Advanced experience in Compensation and Benefits, training or professional certification
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
- Experience with Alteryx and Workday
- Project management experience
- Experience with medical claims processing
- Experience and/or training in the medical field
