Current Need

We are looking for a BI Developer to join the Data Product Solutions team. This is a high visibility role focused on building data & analytics products and will work very closely with our client management, business analytics and product development teams.


Position Description

In this role you will have dual responsibility for both defining requirements and developing data & analytics products leveraging Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Python, SSRS and others. The successful candidate will be a data-driven problem solver who wants to make an impact in healthcare. The Data & Analytics Engineer will use their understanding of analytics, client reporting and data platforms to elicit requirements and technically plan and develop reports, dashboard, data pipelines, data views and data extracts as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop internal product dashboards to illustrate progress against plans
  • Deliver day-to-day execution against the roadmap, working with teams of data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts
  • Engage with stakeholders across business units to gather technical and data requirements, insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated needs to drive successful outcomes
  • Create strong partnerships with stakeholders creating continuous feedback loops that allow us to better understand their needs
  • Iteratively improve data access, quality, and analytics


Key Duties

  • Identify and define analytics opportunities within our applications
  • Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders
  • Author technical feature requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria for varying business scenarios
  • Build strong relationships, present roadmaps, and features to broad teams in an effective manner
  • Product backlog prioritization to ensure the highest business value is being delivered


Minimum Requirements
.

Typically has 4+ years of relevant experience


Critical Skills

  • Advanced experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or other dashboarding tool
  • Experience performing complex analysis and development of models that mitigate risk, deliver insights, and automate tedious processes across the enterprise
  • Experience with data analysis and data manipulation leveraging SQL and/or Python
  • Strong communication ability to synthesize requirements and gain business agreement


Additional knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations. An active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influence
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems
  • Highly adept at working collaboratively across multiple business and technical functions to achieve results
  • Knowledge and experience in either Program Pharmacy or Call Center Operations a plus.


Education

  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
