As a Government Category Analyst with McKesson Medical-Surgical, you will be responsible for transforming data into business value. Through building new core data sets, advancing analytical capabilities, ensuring timely and accurate standing reporting and implementing new solutions you will support product category growth and profitability. The position will also provide opportunities to streamline current processes and reporting directly to the U.S. Government. Beyond data, it is expected this person can effectively communicate findings and implications to the broader business, providing insights into Category performance ranging from Customer, Product and Supplier.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
- 5+ years experience with business analysis
- 5+ years experience working with relational databases
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel- pivots, Vlookups, Sum/Ifs)
- Strong technical skills, with intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to formulate and communicate data process, findings and recommendations
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
- Strong ability to generate meaningful data to influence action
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Team player
Education
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$80,300 – $133,900
