Current Need

We are seeking a Territory Management Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

This role is a part of the Sales Effectiveness team within McKesson Medical Surgical. Our teamโ€™s mission is to help the business unit maintain market leadership. We do this by providing exceptional value to our sales force using sales analytics, tools, technology, and training.

The Territory Management Analyst will be responsible for providing critical territory information to Sales leaders and supporting them in using the territory technologies.He or she will work in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to provide data and technology expertise. Data formatting, clean up, and governance will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write SQL queries to pull data for investigation, solution development, and reporting
  • Create & maintain documentation of processes and SOPs
  • Perform data reviews to ensure alignment
  • Design and implement new processes to existing and anticipated data problems
  • Support territory optimization exercises
  • Develop visualizations that compile, analyze and report on data
  • Collaborate with the team and IT/BI
  • Clearly communicate ideas and insights to various levels of management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and internal customers


Minimum Requirements


0 – 2 years relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • Experience managing and organizing data within a relational database
  • Experience sharing insights with business and leadership
  • Experience writing SQL statements
  • Advanced MS Office expertise with Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint


Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide executive level summary of a highly technical concept
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills
  • Able to approach tasks with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Experience with data visualization software/techniques such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Exposure to Salesforce.com
  • Data process analysis and process improvement experience
  • Able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities
  • Demonstrated aptitude for adopting and learning new technologies and platforms


Education


HS Diploma required. Four-year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience.
