The McKesson FP&A team is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in either Irving TX / Alpharetta GA / Columbus OH.
Position Description
The North America FP&A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the reporting and analytics for the business unit expenses. This role would also be managing standard management reporting across business units. This role will include responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyses in support of business unit Expense Department. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
As a key financial liaison, the Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the various departments across the business unit.
Drive financial reporting

Perform the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation and resolution of monthly variance

Prepare reporting baseline packages: Close report, CFO month end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules

Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes.

Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of key business stakeholders.
Drive knowledge transfers

Review and learn activities transferring to NASS FP&A function

Document standard procedure documentations during knowledge transfers
Drive standardized reporting across the business unit

Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses

Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and NA FSS

Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
-
Excellent knowledge of financial statements
-
Experience with generating management reports, SG&A budgeting, and capital planning
-
Moderate experience working with FP&A systems such as Essbase
-
SAP experience is required

Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required

Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management

Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, TM1, and BPC is preferred (not required)

Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment

Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is preferred
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Environment and Physical Requirements
Traditional office requirements. Large percentage of time performing computer-based work is required.
