Business System Analyst IT Intern – Job Description
The Business Analyst (BSA) Intern will work with an Agile development team to understand the needs of business stakeholders and translate those into technical requirements and implementation plans. The BSA must be a strong communicator with the ability to assess complex scenarios and make recommendations to resolve issues in the best interest of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be an example for our people by demonstrating Medical Solutions’ Core Values in everything you do
- Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to help determine priority and assess timelines
- Participate in all agile ceremonies, including planning, pointing, demos, and retros
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and convey those needs to other team members in an understandable fashion
- Contribute to the improvement of software development by focusing on people, processes, and technology
- Business System Analysis:
- Collect, understand, and transmit business requirements for company projects, and translate requirements into functional specifications and the development and audit of detailed test plans
- Analyze and document business processes
- Analyze and document system processes
- Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain approval from business owners for future software development consideration
- Be the conduit amongst business owners, development teams, and third parties regarding software functionality during the software development life cycle
- Review test scenarios/scripts with Quality Assurance teammates
- Day-to-day management of change requests in relation to the project plan to ensure agreed deadlines are met
- Support change management efforts and processes required as part of working through system enhancements and changes
- Occasionally create and/or participate in system design mock-ups and process redesign efforts, as necessary
Job Qualifications:
