Qualification:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Science degree.
– 6+ years overall experience in technical rolesPower BI Report server (On premise), Power BI Service (Cloud), Business Intelligence and Analytics related innovation areas.
Roles and Responsibilities:
BI consultant will provide support and develop business intelligence applications based on company business requirements following CMMI 3 standards
Implementation of complex and strategic BI projects for our customers and Accounting expertise
Ability to read and analyze programs, perform unit test and do effective analysis & code debugging.
Possess effective communication skill to communicate with customers and other team members.
Prepares flow charts and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
Experience in working with global delivery teams.
Guides and manages team deliveries and Helps build up knowledge base
Establishes working relationships with others outside area of expertise.
Designs, analysis, tests and documents software programs for systems of moderate to high complexity as per the requirements specifications.
Understands customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions.
Participates in the investigation of system requirements and assists in preparation of systems specifications including revising manuals, design of forms and computer output, and documenting user procedures.
Analyzes problems, conducts root cause analysis and help in resolution of problems using defined problem management procedure and help in application support and maintenance of customer applications
Requirements:
Microsoft SQL Server version 2014, 2017 & 2019..SSAS(DAX Tabular & MDX), SSIS, SSRS, SQL knowledge and expertise – Must Have
Experience in Power BI Developer , including hands-on implementation of BI/Analytics/data warehousing solutions, and in-memory solutions using Microsoft technologies in on premise/cloud/hybrid scenarios – Must Have
Hands on exposure on C#, Visual Studio, .Net, GitHub, JQuery – Must Have
BI modeling and SQL scripting and Microsoft product suite experience is required
Project experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and data modelling concepts, Reporting and Visualization experience (e.g., Power BI, Reporting services…)
Understanding/exposure to cloud models/concepts ,Innovation areas like Machine learning, Data Science, Predictive modeling and Data Science, Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning solutions on innovation areas like SAP Leonardo in future
Good to have:
Theobald – a connector that allows Microsoft to extract data from SAP.
Third party tools like CFT, eXtollo, OneAPI
Azure Data Factory hands on exposure.
